A graphic designer, art director, photographer, and videographer by day, I turn to ceramics for a more tactile expression of my design aesthetic. My mother is a ceramic artist and painter, and my father is a marble sculptor, and it recently occurred to me that I have merged their two methods when I apply the sgraffito technique to my animal plates!

The pin that holds all of my various kinds of work together is the purpose I have found to design things that are both functional and beautiful. You will see my love of the flora and fauna of my favorite places in the world come through in my ceramics work.
